Flashings and Gutters

A roof works by moving water through a series of planned routes. Slopes shed rain, valleys collect it, flashings guide it around obstacles and gutters carry it away. Looking at these parts as a connected system makes maintenance more effective. Valleys carry concentrated flow Where two slopes meet, the valley receives more water than either surface alone.
